Ausleihen und zurückgeben
Wer ein Asset hat, wann es fällig ist, und wie es zurückkommt.
Check out records who has an asset. Check in brings it back.
You need the Check out and in ability.
Check out
On the asset (or from a reservation), set:
- Person and/or department
- Site and location (where it is going, if you track that)
- Due date
- Notes
The asset status becomes checked out. A custody event is stored with the actor and time.
Check in
Set the site and location it returned to, plus notes. Status goes back to available (unless something else applies).
Reports and alerts
Use Currently checked out, Overdue check-outs, and checkout history. Turn on overdue alerts if you want email.
Lease
A lease is the same idea for a longer assignment. Use lease when “checkout” is the wrong word for your team.
