Subscription is per Organisation. Owners open it from Setup (or from Billing by clicking a row).

Subscribe or change plan

Pick a plan and monthly or yearly billing. Checkout runs through Stripe. Stripe collects a billing address and calculates tax. Marketing pages still show “+ VAT” on en-GB, DE, ES, and FR; the charged amount comes from Stripe Tax.

An optional short voucher (letters and numbers, no vowels) applies a percent off for a number of months, or for the life of the subscription. Vouchers apply at first checkout, not when you swap plan.

If this Organisation already has a Stripe subscription that can be swapped, WhoTookWhat updates that subscription instead of opening a second Checkout. Past due or incomplete subscriptions must be fixed first.

Past due

If a payment fails, the Organisation stays on its plan for 7 days. A banner shows the deadline. After that, or if Stripe marks the subscription unpaid or cancelled, the Organisation becomes view-only.

You can still read the register. Adds, edits, and deletes are blocked until you subscribe or update the card.

Cancel

Cancel from the Stripe billing portal (opened from Subscription). Access continues through the period you already paid.

Transfer ownership

Owners can transfer this Organisation to a member who has already joined. The list only includes current members — invite someone from Members first if they are not there.

The member becomes Owner and can manage billing. You become Manager and lose Subscription. Stripe stays on this Organisation; the new Owner can update the card in the billing portal.

Trial ended

After the shared 30-day trial, every Organisation you created is view-only until that Organisation is subscribed. See Trial and plans.
