Scan looks up an asset from a printed tag or barcode.
Open Scan. Type the tag, use a wedge scanner, or choose Scan with camera. The camera reads QR, Code 128, Code 39, EAN, and UPC and puts the tag in the field. A UPC-A may appear as 12 digits or as 13 with a leading 0; the tag in the register must match that value. Look up (or Enter) opens that asset. A miss stays on Scan.
Print labels from the asset if your role includes Print labels. Put the same tag on the shelf and in the register.
The mobile app also scans with the camera and opens the asset in one step.
