Alerts
Email alerts, and the header list of live overdue, cover, and stock work.
Alerts is two things: a bell in the header, and optional email from Setup.
Header
The bell lists live work for this Organisation: overdue checkouts, upcoming maintenance, expiring cover, and low stock. Every member sees it. Checking an asset in, or adding stock, clears the item. You can hide a type for yourself in this Organisation.
The bell does not include reservation reminders or scheduled reports.
Alerts under Setup is for Owners and Managers. It controls who gets email, and the lead days.
Typical emails:
- Overdue checkouts
- Upcoming maintenance
- Reservation reminders (first and second lead times)
- Warranty, contract, and insurance expiry
- Low stock
- Scheduled reports (choose which reports and how often)
Each has a toggle and, where it applies, lead days and an address. Hiding a type on the bell does not change who receives email. The trial has a daily email cap.
